A day to remember or to forget

Four Words Creativity — incredible, spell, topple, path

Earlier this month I was requested to dog-sit my daughter’s pet pup while she vacationed.

Because he is spoiled and lively, I decided to take him to the doggy park. He was accustomed to going there and was very excited and began jumping at the closed window before I could get parked.

A true dog whisperer who wears different dog costumes visits the doggie park regularly. Today he wore a spunky Bichon Frise outfit. The generous fellow was a doggie magnet. His secret to exciting the dogs on every visit was “doggie treats” which he carried in zip-lock pouches and offered to the dogs’ owners. All the regular canine visitors were familiar with him and loved him.

My grand-dog, Baley, is a beige and white Bichon Frise that adores the dog suit guy. He, like all the other dogs, performs incredible feats somehow, to get the precious treats, and pats on the head. Today was no different for the spirited little cutie. The pup went into a frenzy when he saw his look-alike in human size. Today of all days, his favorite doggie treats were in one of the zip-lock pouches the doggo lover held in his dog-paw hand.

Baley tangled his leash around my knees, legs, and ankles in his attempt to sniff, lick or eat…
